Black Gulab Jamun, also known as Kala Jamun, is a variation of the classic Indian dessert Gulab Jamun. It is made from a dough of khoya (reduced milk solids) or a combination of milk powder, flour, and sometimes paneer, which is shaped into small round balls. These balls are deep-fried at a low temperature until they develop a dark, almost black, color on the outside.
