Jalebi

Jalebi is a famous Indian sweet made from deep-fried batter, shaped into coiled spirals and soaked in sugar syrup. The batter, typically made from refined flour and sometimes yogurt, is fermented for a few hours to develop a tangy flavor. It is then piped into hot oil or ghee in concentric circles, creating its signature circular or pretzel-like shape. Once golden and crispy, the jalebi is quickly dipped in a warm sugar syrup infused with saffron or cardamom, giving it a glossy, sticky coating.
